Kerli - Love Is Dead
- Kerli is wonderful! Truly an absolutely stunning gift is presented in her newest album, Love Is Dead. For those who love the music of such talented singer-songwriters as Sara Bareilles, Yael Naim and Duffy, here is the answer to your prayers. Kerli's feminine, high octave and evocative voice absolutely towers over the competition. This entire album is a treat, from the slower, thoughtful and emotionally strong but quiet "Love Is Dead," to the quicker and equally emotive "The Creationist," there is little musical ground that Kerli doesn't cover in this phenomenal album. With simple melodies and scant accompaniment of the early songs, to more complicated tunes and varying instruments, including swift piano key swipings, there is plenty of variety, and plenty to like about this album. The best way to describe this album is as equally thoughtful and entertaining. If you are looking for entertainment in your next album purchase, Love Is Dead is one of your best new bets.
