The instrumentals shimmer like waves of embers trying to illuminate without dying out on a gusty night. They act as little twinkling lights that add little blissful treated toppings. The tone shifts its presence throughout as it ranges from a haunting and chilled feeling to a brilliant, soft spoken, rejoicing sensation, coiling around us. The backdrop of music does wonders for the songs, enhancing the quality, really selling them and allowing them to soar. Zen Master is a masterful crafted set of musical tracks that really display a marvelous oscillating melody.
It works in unison like a symphony as the music dazzles us in the manner of a dancing flame on the tip of a candle. Larsen and Furious Jane chant their collective voice to chime in a brilliant accord that can be breathtaking. The sense of adventure is captured in the heart of every recorded song on Zen Master, whether it is aimless wandering or intrepid brashness that takes us to the great beyond.
