Descriptive lyrics that paint interesting visual images abound on this CD, which takes the listener through an uneven journey at best.

Songs such as "Breakthrough" and "Emotional Healing" are just funky enough to be enjoyable with a good blend of vocals and some standout guitar work, particularly on the former. However, tracks like "Supa Soul" and "Beautiful Fate" fall short, with mundane and uninspiring lyrics and discordant rhythms that never quite find their groove.

And although "Rocket Science" comes across as an upbeat departure from some of the more moody selections, "Sweet Tooth" is simply a jumbled mess that, like the rest of the album, does not leave the listener craving more.
