A terrific blend of bluesy rock and moving ballads, "Movie Theatre Haiku" is destined to appeal to a wide variety of listeners, as it offers a little something for everyone.

Despite stumbling halfway through with a rather bland track or two that seem out of step with the rest of the album, the final few songs make a fine recovery, and the CD finishes strong with selections that contain both lovely harmonies and varied melodic tones.
