Eliane Elias - Bossa Nova Stories
- On the CD, Bossa Nova Stories, Eliane Elias carries on the great tradition of artists like Jobim, and combines a richly seductive vocal style with unexpected, lovely and fluid musical arrangements.

Nowhere is this more evident than on classics such as “Day by Day” and “The More I See You,” which receive beautiful treatments here that more than establish Ms. Elias as a force to be reckoned with in her chosen musical genre. But perhaps the highlight of the album is “They Can’t Take That Away from Me,” done here in a style that is truly unique, fresh and new and allows the singer to carve her own path and make it her own. In fact, much the same can be said for just about any one of the songs found here.

If you’re a fan of smooth Latin jazz that is rife with emotion, be sure to check out Eliane Elias‘s Bossa Nova Stories. She is an expert storyteller, and you’ll be richer for the experience of having listened.
