Anna Wilson - Time Changes Everything
- Anna Wilson's "Time Changes Everything" barely has to change anything to be considered a great recording.

“Back In The Day” has a slightly odd bridge, but rebounds to a snappy, up-tempo swinging tune. The title track, “Time Changes Everything,” has nice phrasing and a lovely arrangement, and Wilson’s voice complements the “carpe diem” message.

“Fedora” has a seductively blues-tinged edge, while “One Little Reason” is subtle and keeps it beautifully simple. “Minestrone Soup” is kitschy and fun, but “For Just A Day” has some strange tempo shifts that confuse the ear a bit and make it hard to follow.

The vocals here are smooth and showcase Wilson’s skill and obvious talent, elevating what might have been just an average recording to one that is downright good.
