Amy Heffernan - Amy Heffernan
- "Being Awesome” is Amy Heffernan’s first full length album. Heffernan did release an EP with good friend Steve Giles and brother Doug. “My debut EP is my baby, but it’s way to serious. I can be serious, but not ALL the time” Amy clarifies.

With that statement, Heffernan definitely let loose on her ten track album that lasts 35 minutes. The cd grabs your attention with the title track. The song “Being Awesome” is a fun, upbeat song about partying and drinking, just having a great time.

This is a good album all the way through, whether in a happy or sad mood. No need to skip songs each song is catchy in its own way.

The album also includes Heffernan’s remake of Lady Gaga’s “Just Dance”. Heffernan’s version still has the fun beat, but it seems the tempo is a little bit slower and the instruments are different. Amy plays the guitar.

Even the songs that are about relationships and more serious issues have a beat that someone can still tap their foot to. “I Do” is a sweet love song and “Word” is a deep break-up song about a man who leaves for another woman, and the ex-girlfriend feels lost and distraught.

You can find Amy Heffernan’s album on iTunes under the Rock-Pop genre.
