Static-X - Cult of Static
- Static-X's newest album is "Cult of Static" and contains thirteen tracks suited for the hardcore metal/hard rock fan. There are many exciting melodies and intricate guitar work on display throughout this album. If you are familiar with the metal genre and enjoy it, this will be a great album to catch. If you are not a big metal/screamer fan, you may want to check out tracks like "Grind 2 Halt" and "Looks That Kill" since they are still quick and upbeat, but also enjoy hits of alternative rock.
This is the sixth album from Static-X, which has been collecting a solid following for more than 10 years.
"Looks That Kill" is reminiscent of another earlier metal/hard rock song, the catchy "Angry Again" by Megadeth. Rock on, Static-X!
