I'm About to Come Alive
"I'm About to Come Alive," the debut album from David Nail, is an excellent addition to the country music scene. Hailing from Missouri, Nail became interested in music during high school, and counted Elton John and The Beatles among his influences. The album is filled with songs that anybody can relate to, half of them written by Nail himself, according to davidnail.com.
Fans of country music will love the honk-tonk feel of the majority of his songs, including the title track. However, songs like "Missouri" and "Strangers on a Train" convey the sensitivity and diversity of this up-and-coming country star. Though not my favorite genre of music, I enjoyed the depth of Nail's voice and his songs. It is definitely an album to add to any play list.
