Adam Hood - Singer/songwriter Adam Hood will release his album Different
Groove on Saguaro Road Records (June 2nd), making him the first artist from
an independent record label to be selected by Saguaro Road to market and
promote on a national level. Hood originally released Different Groove on
Little Dog Records (owned by Grammy-winning producer Pete Anderson), which
will partner with Saguaro Road Records to coordinate national marketing and
distribution. Dedicated to great American roots music, Saguaro Road Records
was launched last year and is home to Patty Loveless (nominated for a Grammy
for her Sleepless Nights), the Blind Boys of Alabama (winner of a 2008
Grammy for Down In New Orleans) and Tanya Tucker, releasing a new album on
June 2, 2009.
