Rick Springfield -
Original single off of covers album "The Day After Yesterday"

Shooting to international superstardom with 1981's release Working Class Dog, (which sprung the classic single "Jessie's Girl"), Rick Springfield has remained a music-obsessed workaholic throughout the span of his thirty plus year entertainment career. His latest album The Day After Yesterday finds Springfield revisiting some of the tracks that influenced his style such as Mister Mister's "Broken Wings" (with original vocalist Richard Page), 10CC's "I'm Not in Love", and The Dream Academy's "Life in a Northern Town", as well as an original song titled "Cry". Springfield explains, "I've always wanted to record these songs; they have been favorites of mine for a long time. They are songs I wish I'd written. I wanted to be faithful to the originals but still treat them a little differently and also give them the benefit of the new technology. Plus, I wanted to see if it would be easier and less painful doing a CD of songs I hadn't written...and it was." Springfield has had 17 top 40 hits and has sold over 19,000,000 records. Creating some of the best crafted “power pop” over the last 30 years, Rick has released 12 studio albums throughout his career and several “greatest hits” albums. Having performed for millions of fans over the last three decades, and showing no signs of slowing down, Rick continues to play 100 shows a year, sharing his love of performing, unstoppable energy and his unique brand of crowd interaction with thousands of fans each night.
