Indian Ocean is the first Cat Stevens recording in 25 years
the new album 'Gold' is Stevens' most complete greatest hits collection to date pulling 32 songs from each of his 9 studio albums. Each of the tracks have been digitally remastered.
The song ‘Indian Ocean’ gives an inkling of a new creative dawn and lends hope that more music will soon be heard from a man who wrote and recorded some of his generation's most beloved songs. Penned and co-produced by Islam, "Indian Ocean" was digitally released in early 2005 to benefit, through Islam's Small Kindness charity, children in the region of Aceh decimated by the December 2004 tsunami.
