In addition to songs co-written by the pair – including “Wait For Me” and the eulogy for a dead bunny “Crystal Blue R.I.P.” - the duo covers a B-side from Donovan, “Teen Angel” and a Lee Hazlewood rarity, “You Turned My Head Around.” Back Numbers features Wareham on guitar and Phillips on bass and keyboards, and also includes musicians Sonic Boom (Casio, electribe, MuRF), Matt Johnson (drums), Sean McCaul (vibraphone) and Tony Visconti (double bass, electric 12-string).
