Details - ISM- Sacred Cows
Shot in Los Angeles by directors Pavlina Hatoupis and Ely Mennin of Ministry of Content, the video displays controversial torture techniques such as water-boarding and electrocution with ISM front-man, Andre Mistier, LITERALLY enduring the torture, personally. While these shocking happenings caught on film might come as a surprise to some, the theme of “Sacred Cows” is to show society’s apathetic acceptance of the world around them: from the horrors of Guantanamo Bay to those of our modern pop-icons.
The single, and the album on which it can be found, “Urgency” (released nationwide on 8/5) point out questions and choices we make in reaction to everything - from customs to societal norms. Life is too short and precious not to challenge our information, our motivation, our-selves. To challenge these things is what it is to be truly alive.

Details - Jamie Jo - "U Turn Me On" EPK
The name Jamie Jo has a provocative, sexy sound to it – and that sound comes to you on a wave of electro. Sporting a seductive melody and chorus, pulsing beats, and sparkling ripples of synth, Jamie Jo’s debut single, “U Turn Me On,” is pop confection at its tastiest. It also features an instantly recognizable guest star - the Bee Gees’ Barry Gibb, who lent his talents and inimitable voice.
Capable of scorching up the dance floor, house party, and iPod alike, Jamie Jo’s upcoming full-length album, In Violet (Oden Media), entails a lip-glossed kiss to lovers of catchy modern electro in the vein of Kylie Minogue and Goldfrapp, with a blistering edge. It’s an album and sound inspired by globetrotting nights spent in the world’s most trendsetting music venues, from Lenny Kravitz’s The Florida Room in Miami to Europe’s Crystal’s to New York City’s Don Hill’s.

Details - Parliament Funkadelic DVD In Stores NOW
It was Halloween night and Parliament Funkadelic was about to tear the roof off the Houston Summit, ready to bless the crowd with their cosmic brew of interplanetary funk. George Clinton, Bernie Worrell, Bootsy Collins and the rest of the P-Funk collective were riding the success of their first Top 5 R&B hit, “Give Up The Funk (Tear The Roof Off The Sucker),” a track that had earned them the kind of radio play that would bring the masses out to see them live in a stadium-sized arena. The group was only five dates into the tour when they arrived in Houston, but they were definitely ready to take it to the stage for an out-of-this-world show like no other.
