‘Bachelor’ Couple Ties the Knot
Former Bachelor Jason Mesnick and his runner-up Molly Malaney exchanged vows on Saturday afternoon at Terranea Resort in Rancho Palos Verdes, CA. According to Us Weekly, around 250 guests looked on as the 25-year-old department store buyer walked down the aisle in a strapless Monique Lhuiller gown while former American Idol contestant, Jason Castro, sang “Somewhere Over the Rainbow.”
People reports that Bachelor and Bachelorette alums Trista and Ryan Sutter, Jillian Harris and Ed Swiderski, DeAnna Pappas, Jesse Csinak, and Kiptyn Locke weathered the rain and tsunami threat to watch the fifteen minute nuptials. The couple’s “I do”’s will be televised in an ABC special entitled The Bachelor: Jason & Molly’s Wedding airing on March 8.
Mesnick caused controversy during his stint on The Bachelor. He dumped his final rose getter, Melissa Rycroft, during the “After the Final Rose” special for runner-up Malaney. The 33-year-old single father proposed to Malaney in October. The two have been living together in his Seattle home since late September.
