‘Gossip Girl’ Spoiler: Hearts Will Break

“Gossip Girl” fans rooting for Chuck (Ed Westwick) and Blair (Leighton Meester) are about to have a rude awakening. The euphoric East Side relationship between the two will soon come to an end according to E!’s Kristin Dos Santos.

“It’s a bad, bad breakup,” insiders say.

Who is at fault? Chuck.

Oh, Chuck, what did you do? And most importantly, Why?!

It looks like Chuck’s does “something horrible” and everyone will hate him for it. To make matters worse, Jack Bass (Desmond Harrington) makes an appearance and also has part in the end of Chuck and Blair.

It’s not a big surprise that Jack (the villain) would be behind something horrible, but Chuck had turned over a new leaf, or so we thought. The relationship starts to fall apart around episode 17 (“Inglourious Bassterds”) and 18 (“The Unblairable Lightness of Being”), Dos Santos reports. The episodes will air in April.

This is sad news, but a shake-up was expected. After all, haven’t we learned that nothing stays the same for long on the Upper East Side?
