‘Jersey Shore’ Cast Hard at Work on Various Side Projects

When the cast of MTV’s hit Jersey Shore aren’t partying the night away while “beating the beat,” or spending their day doing “GTL,” they are working on expanding their individual brands, MTV reports.

Both JWoww and Snooki are busy designing clothing lines.

JWoww’s line, Filthy Couture, which features bedazzled party dresses and beachwear, is inspired by the Jersey Shore. She says, "The Jersey Shore is a bunch of fist-pumpers and guidos and guidettes, and we all listen to the same type of music, which is house music, and everyone on the show says 'filthy beats' and that's where I kind of came up with it."

Snooki, on the other hand, has more than just a clothing line in the works. However, she does not want to seem over-kill when expanding her empire. “I have a clothing line coming out and then my hair [line] is Snook-it, [using] hairspray and a teasing comb," she said. "My book's coming out about how I view the world. I don't want to put everything out at once."

The guys, on the other hand, have musical aspirations. Vinny is working on his rap songs and Pauly D is hard at work in his DJ career, even being nominated in the annual America’s Next DJ competition.

As for “The Situation,” he is working on a work-out video to give fans the work-out routine responsible for his infamous abs. He is also writing a book called, Here’s The Situation.
