‘Mary Knows Best’ Starring Mary Occhino To Debut July 15th On Syfy

The Syfy Network is continuing to broaden its horizons with the implementation of three new reality shows that are slated to premier on Thursday, July 15th. The network, which voluntarily changed its name from the Sci-Fi Channel to Syfy in 2009, will be airing new programs that do not fit the mold and are less bound to the niche of scientific non-fiction that existed prior to the name change.

‘Mary Knows Best’ is presented in a documentary-soap format with the predominant theme of the show revolving around the relationship between psychic intuitive Mary Occhino and her three children, who have each inherited Occhino’s psychic abilities in noticeably different ways. Occhino is not only a renowned psychic intuitive but she is also a radio host and a mother of three young children.

Occhino considers one of her children to be a paranormal investigator, another to be a reluctant psychic and the other to be a skeptic. The relationship that she holds with her children is diverse and unique due to the fact that they have all inherited her abilities to a certain extent but they have each inherited her abilities in entire different ways.

The other two reality shows that will debut in mid-July on Syfy are ‘Paranormal Investigators’, which profiles intriguing cases of supernatural activity, and ‘Ghost Hunters Academy’, which is a competition-based reality show that features aspiring spirit chasers engaging in exciting weekly challenges.
