‘Transformers 3' Extra's Condition Improving
Last Wednesday, a stunt on the set of Michael Bay’s Transformers 3 went horribly wrong. Gabriella Cedillo, an extra on the film, was driving her car through a scene when a cable snapped and went through the window, hitting her in the head. The car continued moving for nearly a mile before crashing into a concrete banner.
The 24-year-old underwent brain surgery and is now recovering in a medical-induced coma. According to her brother, her condition is improving. He told reporters, “She already had the operation and she’s doing better.”
Cedillo, a bank teller, has a passion for the movie business, and is currently pursuing a career in acting. She was said to be really excited to be working on the movie.
The last day of production on Transformers 3, which is filming in the Chicago area, was suspended after the accident.
