
At the 2010 Spike TV Scream Awards over the weekend, vampire-themed entertainment reigned supreme as The Twilight Saga and True Blood took home several honors. Press Association reports that The Twilight Saga: Eclipse earned Best Fantasy Film and the series’ lead actress, Kristen Stewart, emerged victorious in the category of Best Fantasy Actress.
Stewart’s co-star and rumored boyfriend, Robert Pattinson, was awarded Best Fantasy Actor, representing a clean sweep of the board at the 2010 Scream Awards for the ever-popular film franchise. Stewart represented Twilight at the ceremony and was joined on stage by Jackson Rathbone and Nikki Reed when their film was given the most coveted award of the night.
HBO’s True Blood won a handful of awards and cast members Anna Paquin, Stephen Moyer, and Alexander Skarsgard were in attendance to claim the prizes. Never-before-seen clips from such upcoming projects as Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1, Paranormal Activity 2, The Rite and There, and The Walking Dead were unveiled during the show.
Scream 4 cast members David Arquette, Emma Roberts, and Neve Campbell were on hand to present footage from their upcoming project. Other stars who appeared at the 2010 Spike TV Scream Awards included Halle Berry, Megan Fox, Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds, and Mickey Rourke.
