11 top fashion designers sketch out the 'Fire Dress' for 'The Hunger Games'

Fans of The Hunger Games cannot wait until the movie is in theaters in March but until then fans got a sneak peek at how a very important costume might look on the big screen.

In the Hunger Games novels, the main character, Katniss Everdeen (who is played by Jennifer Lawrence), wears a fire inspired dress to the opening ceremony of the games. Fans know how important it is for the costume design team to get this look right, it is a very important plot point and development in Everdeen’s character.

Top fashion designers from all over the world have sketched out what they think the fire dress will look like. InStyle put the designers together and then published what they think the design will look like. Desingers included Christian Siriano, Tommy Hilfiger, Erin Fetherston, Tibi, Christian Cota, Nicole Miller, and Rachel Roy. None of these designers are employed to be making the dress, reported CelebDirtyLaundry.

People reported a few designers even left a space for Everdeen’s bow and arrow, which is very important for her character.
