2009 MTV Movie Awards to Host Exclusive "New Moon" Scene

MTV plans to cash in on "Twilight" mania by having Pattinson, Stewart and Lautner present the never-before-seen clip.

The 2009 MTV Movie Awards have given Twilight fans across the nation a big reason to rejoice by showcasing an exclusive, unprecedented scene from the upcoming sequel, New Moon, the Los Angeles Times blog reported.

As if the clip itself weren't enough, it will be revealed to eager audiences by the Twilight stars—Robert Pattinson, who plays Edward Cullen, the brooding Vampire in love with a mortal girl; Kristen Stewart, who plays Bella Swan, the mortal girl in question, and Taylor Lautner, who plays Jacob Black, Bella's best friend and werewolf protector.

Twilight has been nominated for "Best Movie" and "Best Kiss," among other things, with Pattinson also in the running for "Breakthrough Male Performance" and Stewart for "Best Female Performance."
