Simon Cowell is showing his competitive side, and has targeted The Voice for a sing off.

On February 17, Cowell sent off a tweet initiating a competition. He tweets, “Maybe the winner of @TheXFactorUSA this yr should compete with winner of The Voice & Idol in a super final. Just a thought. I'd be up for it.”

Cowell’s name has been blazing in the media after firing fellow judges Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger. He also came forward after the death of Whitney Houston to proclaim that she was a potential replacement for the two.

Access Hollywood reports that the British X Factor judge has suggested a sing-off between the winners of the three popular talent seeking shows: X Factor, The Voice and American Idol, of which Cowell is a former judge.

Access Hollywood reporter Jill Martin asked X Factor judge Adam Levine what he thinks about a battle-for-the-best between the three shows, to which Levine replied, “He’s so hell bent on competing with other shows. We’re not really interested in a way… That’s kind of a cool idea, actually, but I’m not so sure we’re totally interested in what everyone else is doing."

He adds, “We’re just kind of worrying about what we do ‘cause we all know the more we worry about everybody else, the more the quality of what you’re doing tends to suffer. So, we want to just do what we do.”
