The Brit Awards are being held Tuesday night, less than two weeks after Adele won all six of the awards she was nominated for at the Grammys. She is a favorite to win at least two of the three she is nominated for at the Brit Awards.

According to Canada’s The National Post, Adele has been nominated for best British single for “Someone Like You,” best British album for 21 and best British female solo artist. Adele has not won an award since 2008, when she released her debut record and was given the critics’ choice award. She had been nominated for three awards the following year, but lost all three. This year, she is considered a favorite to win the female artist award and for “Someone Like You.”

21 has to go up against the debut album for singer/songwriter Ed Sheeran, titled +. Sheeran was nominated for four awards, but he told The BBC that he is not very confident that he can beat 21 for best album. "She's going to clean up regardless,” he said, also saying that he is lucky that he isn’t competing against Adele in two of the four categories he is nominated in.

Sheeran is also nominated for British single for “The A Team,” British Breakthrough Act and British Male Solo Artist. Other nominees for British album of the year include Coldplay’s Mylo Xyloto, Florence & The Machine’s Ceremonials and Let England Shake by PJ Harvey.

The Brit Awards will be held at the O2 Arena in London. Adele will make her first performance in the UK since her successful throat surgery during the show.
