Singer Nick Jonas and Australian pop star Delta Goodrem have called it quits, putting an end to their relationship, which lasted less than a year.

A representative for the 27-year-old Goodrem told People that they decided to “mutually end their relationship.” The representative went on to say that the two are focused on their careers and decided to go on “different paths.”

"They remain friends and wish each other the best for the future,” the representative concluded. A representative for Jonas would not comment on the break-up.

According to Australia’s Herald Sun, the two met in May of last year, just a month after Goodrem ended her six-year engagement to Irish singer Brian McFadden. Jonas spent time in Australia with Goodrem’s family in December.

The Daily Mail reports that Goodrem once said of the relationship, “I’m really lucky to have such a wonderful person in my life...I’m in a really happy place right now. I feel very blessed.”

Goodrem has actually been tapped as one of the guest coaches on the Australian version of NBC’s The Voice, working with Keith Urban, Seal and Good Charlotte’s Joel Madden. She is also set to release a new single by the time the show premieres.

As for the 19-year-old Jonas, who was part of the best-selling Jonas Brothers band with his two brothers, he is currently in New York starring on Broadway in How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying, replacing Daniel Radcliffe and Darren Criss. Clearly, Jonas enjoyed staying in New York, telling People earlier this month that he is enjoying life in the city.
