Chris Brown may have seemed unforgiveable a few years ago, but lately he’s been able to better his name and even Rihanna’s on good terms with him now. So much so that they’re collaborating on songs together.
Entertainment Weekly reported Chris Brown is featured on RiRi’s official remix of her single, “Birthday Cake.”
And the song definitely is not about celebrating birthdays. On the remix, Brown is heard singing about how he wants to “f--k you right now. Been a long time I been missing your body” and “lick the icing off, give it to her in the worst way, can’t wait to blow the candles out.”
According to MTV News, the release of the single coincided with Rihanna’s 24th birthday, Feb. 20.
The song also hit airwaves during a time when rumors were rampant that the “Umbrella” singer and Brown had been secretly dating, even though the “Forever” singer is dating aspiring model Karrueche Tran.
During the weekend of this year’s Grammy Awards, reports also swirled that the two were seen holding hands at an event.
However, music producer duo Da Internz sort of put those rumors to bed when they announced that a “big” Rihanna remix would be featuring a guest that would “shock the world.”
"We got the Rihanna 'Birthday Cake' coming out in a week," told MTV News at the time.
"It's gonna be crazy," Tuo added.
"And the feature on there is gonna shock the world," Kosine said.
