Delta Goodrem and Nick Jonas split after 10 months of dating

A Hollywood split isn’t unlikely for either Nick or Joe Jonas, the only unmarried Jonas brothers.

While Joe Jonas is known for breaking up with Taylor Swift via a “27-second phone call,” Nick Jonas is now splitting with his pop star girlfriend, Australian native Delta Goodrem.

Goodrem’s rep told People in a statement, “Nick and Delta have decided to mutually end their relationship," adding, "At this point in time, they are both focused on their careers as they go on different paths."

While Nick’s rep wouldn’t comment on the break-up, Goodrem’s rep continued "They remain friends and wish each other the best for the future."

Jonas, 19, and Goodrem, 27, dated for about 10 months.

The Daily Mail reports that they were first spotted together publicly in May, shortly after Goodrem broke things off with boyfriend of seven years, Brian McFadden.

Jonas is currently living in New York City, as he’s starring in the Broadway play How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, taking over the role from both Daniel Radcliffe and Darren Criss of Glee fame.

He said earlier this month in an interview, "I'm enjoying love, life and friends.”

Goodrem’s relationship with Jonas is a departure from her norm, as the Daily Mail notes she has a history of dating a slew of older men.

She dated Australian tennis player Mark Philippoussis, who is 34, and McFadden, who is 31.
