People were outraged when it was reported that Rihanna and Chris Brown would be teaming up to work on a remix of Rihanna’s song “Birthday Cake,” and it’s now being revealed that their working relationship doesn’t stop there.
Not only did Rihanna confirm via Twitter that they collaborated on the “Birthday Cake” remix, she also tweeted another song they worked together on.
"@chrisbrown Turn up the music remix #RihannaNavy #Teambreezy enjoy!!!" she tweeted Monday night, The New York Daily News reports.
She then tweeted, "#RihannaNavy Come and put ya name on it!!!!! RT @chrisbrown: @rihanna YIKES!!! Cake, cake, cake!"
The former couple, who broke up in 2009 after the famous incident in which Brown was arrested for assault just before the Grammys, are being a bit more open about their friendship lately, as TMZ reports Brown tweeted Rihanna “Happy Birthday” earlier this week and she responded with “Thanks.”
Brown, however, is dating someone named Karrueche Tran. But his lyrics on one of the song’s with Rihanna are pretty sexual.
"Girl I wanna f--- you right now. Been a long time I been missing your body," Brown sings on the remix. "Lemme, lemme turn the lights down. When I, when I go down it's a private party,” he sings on the “Birthday Cake” remix, Us Magazine reports.
