Minnie Driver reveals son's father's identity

When it comes to keeping celebrity secrets, Minnie Driver probably ranks up at the top with Beyonce and Jay-Z.

Us Weekly reported that after three years, the actress is finally talking about her son’s father and revealing details about the elusive character.

Driver told the UK’s The Observer that the father of 3-year-old son, Henry Story Driver, is a writer on The Riches, which Driver starred in from 2007 to 2008.

According to the Hollywood Reporter Driver said that she and this writer, who she refused to name, “weren’t together and he wasn’t directly in the business, so I chose to protect him and not have a rain of publicity.”

However, now she believes that she doesn’t “need to protect him anymore. He can fend for himself. He’s a grown-up.”

And while the identity of the 42-year-old’s baby daddy was a trending story, Driver said that she doesn’t think the news is a big deal at all because he “is not famous.”

When asked if she thought he was a good father, Driver didn’t necessarily give him rave reviews.

“Is he a good dad? Sort of. He’s figuring it out,” she said. “I mean, he hasn’t been that involved – his choice. But he is now.”

Let’s hope Henry’s dad figures it out for his son’s sake.
