Ever wonder what your favorite celebrity was doing before they got their big break in Hollywood? Wonder no more! On Feb. 22, ABC’s 20/20 will feature a special segment dedicated to stars before they were famous.
As the 84th Annual Academy Awards near on Feb. 26, TV Guide is reporting Robin Roberts will host an hour-long special taking a trip down memory lane of some of the 2012 Oscar nominees. Viewers will be introduced to “clips and recollections” from acquainted people close to certain superstars. Reporting for the special will be done by Chris Connelly, Deborah Roberts and Lara Spencer.
In a promotional clip distributed by ABC Network, the previews show George Clooney, Glenn Close, Viola Davis, Octavia Spencer and Michelle Williams among others who will be featured in the special.
According to The Examiner, Roberts will cover it all during the Oscar special. The stars themselves are coming forward to reveal what they were doing before they hit the big screen as well as former co-stars and friends dishing on the lives of Hollywood’s “It” actors and actresses.
In addition, home videos and never-before-seen footage will be unveiled, plus some big surprises!
Also honored in the tribute will be eight-time host of the Academy Awards, Billy Crystal.
