Even Dina Lohan is now telling Lindsay to stay home

Dina Lohan actually gave her daughter some sensible advice this week. The famous momager, notorious for her nights out partying with the Mean Girls star in recent years, said in a phone interview Thursday morning with talk show host Wendy Williams that she told Lindsay to lay low until her court date next week.

“I said [to Lindsay], ‘Do not leave the house!’” Dina said in the interview, according to The Seattle Post Intelligencer.

This advice of Dina’s comes on the heels of Lindsay’s alleged hit-and-run incident with a Hollywood nightclub manager this past week. Still, Dina is convinced that the accident was not Lindsay’s fault, but rather the paparazzo's. She also notes that the paparazzi will stop at nothing to create more trouble for the star.

"She's coming down the home stretch and the paparazzi is just stalking her right now and trying to do anything, crash her car, just trying to hurt her before her court date on the 29th and we just want to put this behind us,” Dina said, according to WYTV. “So I said, 'Live in a bubble for the next two weeks and everything's over...' and she'll be free and clear to live her life."

Lindsay is set to play a young Elizabeth Taylor in the upcoming Lifetime TV biopic Liz and Dick, and Dina said she is thrilled about her daughter’s potential comeback role.

"It's an incredible, incredible role for her," WYTV reported her as saying.
