Hilary Duff will be a new mom very very soon. The 24-year-old actress recently shot a Proactiv spoof for Funny or Die about a product called no-growactiv that controls pregnancy hair growth.
"It takes a lot of work to look this good when you're this pregnant," she says in the mock commercial. "As everyone knows, pregnancy causes morning sickness, weight gain, and of course, rampant, excessive hair growth all over your body."
"After I got pregnant, my hormones caused so much hair growth that I felt like a yeti,” she adds. “Or Robin Williams.”
In the parody Hilary dons a mustache, beard, and overly hairy arms. Like in the Proactiv commercials, others tell their success stories of getting rid of excessive hair, not necessarily caused by only pregnancy. But Hilary realizes one strange side effect of the product.
“It will get rid of that excess hair, make you feel more alive, and make you more likely to give birth to a baby made entirely of hair, 100 percent more likely.”
“Wait, what the --,” she adds.
Hilary pretty soon won’t have to worry about having a hair baby or anymore hair growth, as she hinted she could give birth as soon as this week.
“Spent an amazing weekend in montacito (where mc&i) got hitched! perfect&beautiful! who knows could be the last weekend it's just the 2 of us :0” she tweeted earlier this week. But as she waits, she has no-growactiv to thank for her clear, hairless skin.
“Big thanks to no grow active!” she wrote. Watch the Funny or Die video below.
