James Franco looks like a Kevin Federline look-alike in the picture that Selena Gomez tweeted from the set of her new movie with Vanessa Hudgens and Ashley Benson,Spring Breakers. As it turns out, it’s actually James Franco, who is playing rapper Riff Raff.

When Gomez tweeted the picture, Fuse TV retweeted it to the From G’s to Gents star Riff Raff and asked, "Is this you?!"

He responded, "If I explained the story to u then u wouldn't even believe me. Harmony Korine [the writer of Kids and director of Gummo] called my phone to be in this new movie Spring Breakers. I was out of the country."

After getting him on the phone, the Houston rapper said that the producers of the film wanted him in it but they were on a short timeframe.

"The role I would have played would be like a drug dealer, or the friend of a drug dealer, Gucci Mane," he explained. He also cleared up that Oscar nominee Franco was already supposed to be in the film, "but I was supposed to be in there also. Now James Franco is playing me."

The rapper will still be a part of the film, as he and Gucci Mane will do a song and a video for the soundtrack.

"Even though I couldn't be a part of this project, I'm still glad that James Franco could play the role of me,” he said. “That's like if Denzel Washington was playing the role of O.J. Simpson. Even though it's not O.J. Simpson, O.J. Simpson still gotta be like, 'Denzel Washington is playing me.'"

Us Magazine reports that Franco wore a goatee, corn rows and a wife beater while he shot the scenes in Miami, Florida this week.
