Jersey Shore star, Jenni “JWoww” Farley, is being sued by her former landlord for using the home she was renting out in Long Island for a couple of scenes in the first season of the hit MTV show.
The reality star, who is currently filming a spin-off show with her pregnant friend Snooki, is being sued for $150,000.
TMZ reports that a man named Stuart Levine is seeking monetary compensation from both 495 Productions and Farley for filming in his home without his permission back in 2008.
Levine said that until the show aired on MTV, he didn’t even know there were cameras inside of the home and he isn’t happy that it was being used for commercial reasons.
According to Gossip Cop, which reports that Levine is actually suing for over $450,000. Farley’s former landlord is seeking a settlement for damages done to his property. Neither Farley nor the production company has commented on the lawsuit.
Levine filed the lawsuit in New York Supreme Court on Monday, March 5, reports Ace Showbiz, who also reports that Levine is seeking $450,000. In the filing, he claimed that Farley and 495 productions used his property in footage at least five separate times.
