Bobbi Kristina Brown, the daughter of the late Whitney Houston, is reportedly going to follow in her mother’s footsteps by getting into the entertainment business. Reports suggest that Bobbi Kristina has landed a recurring role in a new Tyler Perry sitcom on TBS.
According to Radar Online, Bobbi Kristina was cast for a role in For Better Or Worse, playing the daughter of Tasha Smith’s character, stylist Angela Williams. The sitcom will be based on Perry’s Why Did I Get Married? and Why Did I Get Married Too?.
Blog Straight From The A is one of the blogs reporting the news and claims to be the first to report it.
For Better or Worse has been doing almost as well as Perry’s other TBS shows, House of Payne and Meet The Browns. In February, TBS announced that they ordered 35 more episodes of the series, which averaged 2.9 million viewers and a 1.6 18-49 rating during its ten-episode debut season. The show airs on Fridays.
If the reports are true, then it looks like Bobbi Kristina may be on her way to completing one of her dreams. On her Twitter page, she calls herself a “Dancer. Actress. Musician. Born into Ent.”
Bobbi Kristina has had a tumultuous two months, starting with her mother’s death on Feb. 11. There were also reports that she was in a romantic relationship with ‘adopted’ brother Nick Gordon and a representative had to deny reports they were engaged. On Thursday, it was reported that her father, Bobby Brown, could face three misdemeanor charges after being arrested for DUI.
