Don't put anything past Betty White. Even at 90 years young, she's in with the times!
The Golden Girls babe joined Twitter yesterday, on Apr. 10, with the name @BettyMWhite, first tweeting, "Hello Twitter! And they said it would never happen. Oh wait, that was me."
Nearly 20 hours later, White has over 129,000 followers and is following 41 people including Barbara Walters, Joy Behar, Perez Hilton, Chelsea Handler, Selena Gomez and Ryan Seacrest.
The funny lady posted a second tweet promoting her new show, Betty White's Off Their Rockers, by tweeting, "My new show 'Betty White's Off Their Rockers' airs 8 PM tomorrow on NBC... I'm new at this... ;) http://tinyurl.com/7ohlpo4."
Don't think she stopped tweeting there! With her latest tweet, the 90-year-old sent out a fun and flirty message to media mogul Ryan Seacrest.
"Hey @RyanSeacrest - my new show airs tomorrow and I hear we're in the same time slot. I've always dreamed of sharing a night with you…" she tweeted.
How does Seacrest feel about this flirtatious shout-out that everyone can see? Well, there's no word yet!
Although she's most famous for her role in Golden Girls (the hit show originated in 1980) White has been non-stop ever since. Her most recent roles include TV Land's Hot in Cleveland and NBC's Betty White's Off Their Rockers, in which she plays herself in the role of a prankster, as the Chicago Tribune reports.
White hasn't tweeted for the last several hours, so do you think she's over the hype of Twitter already? We hope not!
