‘Breaking Bad’ star Aaron Paul tweets about being robbed in New Mexico while shooting

Aaron Paul, a star on AMC’s hit show Breaking Bad tweeted angrily about being robbed twice while working on the show in Albuquerque, New Mexico, where the show is filmed.

According to KOAT, Paul tweeted on Tuesday that he had been robbed twice. "First time was my car and this time around it was my house,” he wrote. In another tweet, which was directed to the ABC affiliate, he wrote that he still loves the city “...and the people. Just felt violated and super sad to lose personal items from my home."

E! News notes that he also said in another tweet that he cannot wait to get back to Los Angeles. "It's so much safer there,” he wrote.

Paul uses the Twitter handle @aaronpaul_8 and has over 48,000 followers. He has since deleted all tweets related to the situation.

KOAT also acquired a police report that he filed, detailing items that were stolen from his house on April 1.

Paul plays Jesse Pinkman, a drug dealer, on the critically acclaimed series. He won an Emmy for his supporting role on the show in 2010. The series is heading into its fifth and final season, which will be split in two. AMC has yet to announce when the season will premiere.

Paul also got engaged in January to activist Lauren Parsekian.
