Demi Lovato’s fans became crazed at her show in Paraguay on Thursday night, so much so that her performance had to come to a halt temporarily when fans rushed the stage.
The “Give Your Heart a Break” singer motioned to fans in the front-most section of the show that they could move up a little closer to her, but unfortunately, that nice gesture turned into something else entirely.
"You guys gotta be safe though,” she told the young girls and boys who rushed the stage, E! Online reports.
One eager fan then took it upon themselves to hug the singer, which prompted security to jump in, and a hoard of male fans as well.
Lovato was able to escape the incident unscathed, and was eventually able to resume the concert safely.
The Celebrity Gossip reports that when Lovato returned to the stage to resume the concert, she told her rowdy fans to “chill out.”
Lovato recently announced her tour dates for this summer, MTV News reports. The tour will kick off on June 12 in California, and end in Oregon on September 1.
