There have been countless rumors that Bridesmaids star Kristen Wiig will be leaving Saturday Night Live when her contract expires. Although she hasn’t confirmed leaving, the funny lady does address it during a recent interview.

When asked if her time on the late night sketch comedy show would be coming to an end sooner rather than later, Wiig answered, “I don’t know.”

“Everyone has to leave,” she continued, “and I will say that when I do leave, it's not because I'm sick of it and not because I see something better or anything like that. It's just that it's time. When I do leave, it will be the hardest thing."

Wiig also said, while being interviewed by Alec Baldwin on his podcast Here’s The Thing, that she will be moving on to projects other than comedy.

"There are a couple of things that I'm looking at doing next that aren't comedies at all. One of them is really not at all,” she said, MTV News reports. She also notes “People are always so surprised when I want to do dramatic stuff.”

Baldwin also joked to the SNL star about leaving the show, "It's a really ballsy move on your part because who the F is going to hire you?"

"I don't know. I may go back to open up a canoe shop," she quipped.
