Lady Gaga concert in Korea strongly opposed to by devout Christian church group

Lady Gaga is one well-traveled pop star, as she has toured the world and has seen many countries.

Her latest stop was Korea, and the “Bad Romance” singer tweeted about her experience with flying there on Thursday.

Gaga apparently had jetlag and she compared the feeling to being on drugs.

''Jet lag last night was like bad shrooms. When my dad asked what that meant I told him its like being in a musical you don't want to be in,” she explained, Contact Music reports.

However, when she arrived in Korea, she received mix reactions upon arrival. Devout Christians from South Korea have prayed that Gaga’s concert will be cancelled, The Mirror reports.

About 300 members of the church gathered to pray that the appearance be canceled, and government officials have banned Gaga’s fans under 18 from attending the show in Seoul.

"We will pray to God that the concert will not be realized so that homosexuality and pornography will not spread around the country," said prayer organizer Kang Ju-Hyun.

Before being asked to leave by city officials, the church members stood outside with signs that read that Gaga’s used “lewd lyrics and performances,” to spread “unhealthy sexual culture.”

Gaga will kick off her Born This Way Ball Global Tour in South Korea.
