Lindsay Lohan’s father, Michael, has come to his daughter’s defense after rumors of another bar brawl have been released.
Lohan was at the Los Angeles hotspot, Smoke and Mirrors, with her father earlier in the week. Apparently, a clubber made fun of Lohan for bringing her father out to the club with her. A quarrel ensued, resulting in a drink being thrown at Lohan.
Regarding the incident, Michael Lohan said, “"There were some people dancing around her and people trying to get to her and I was keeping them away. I heard commotion behind me. And the girl said something and Lindsay cursed and the other girl threw a drink at her and that was it.”
He was insistent that there was no physical altercation, saying, “Absolutely not, there was no contact whatsoever.”
Lohan is rumored to have been involved in another bar altercation a few weeks ago. TMZ is reporting that Lohan has sworn to never venture into the Stanford Hotel again.
Lohan is set to appear in the Lifetime biopic of Elizabeth Taylor, tentatively titled Liz and Dick. She is also scheduled to make a guest appearance on Glee, serving as a judge for the May 15 episode.
