Nayda “Octomom” Suleman's van was vandalized over the weekend, with the perpetrator leaving behind a death threat.
La Habra police Sgt. Jeff Baylos confirmed that the mother of 14 children’s car window was smashed in and a note was left, threatening her life.
Suleman’s father reported the crime to the police around 8pm on Saturday, MSNBC reports.
At the time of the vandalism, Suleman’s 2002 Toyota Sienna was parked in the driveway of her home on East Madonna Lane in La Habra, CA.
"Nadya heard some noise in the front of the house and woke up," Gina Rodriguez, Octomom’s manager said of the incident, which was said to have occurred around 3am on Saturday. “She saw an unfamiliar car in the front of the house. She went back to sleep in her family room and woke up to her neighbors at her door telling her the car window was broken on her van."
The note that included a death threat read “leave California or you will die,” TMZ reports.
Suleman has been receiving a lot of negative backlash after making the decision to get government assistance to help feed her multiple children.
She has been getting $2,000 in food stamps to feed her children the past 2 months.
