The surviving members of the massively successful ‘90s girl group TLC, Tionne "T-Boz" Watkins and Rozonda "Chilli" Thomas, have announced plans to go forward with a reunion tour later this year.
T-Boz and Chilli will embark upon a tour of the U.S. and TMZ reports that they have already booked five major cities.
Wednesday happens to mark the 10-year anniversary of the third member of the group’s death, Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes. But T-Boz and Chilli maintain that Left Eye will be present during the tour.
Vocals of Left Eye are said to be getting incorporated into the tour, as well as her image on the big screen, much like Tupac’s at Coachella.
In a statement, T-Boz and Chilli talked about the passing of their beloved third member of TLC.
"The word anniversary means a celebration. For us her death will never be a celebration, it's still something that hurts,” they said, CNN reports.
Chill said that Left Eye "is our sister. You never get over losing a family member. We love her and we miss her and that isn't ever going to change."
The girls also told Essence they’re planning a Vh1 biopic and another album on top of the exciting tour plans.
