Twitter account created for Tupac's hologram at Coachella

By Gina DiFalco,

Tupac’s “performance” with Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre during their closing set at Coachella surely has everyone talking, with some finding the realness of it all eerie and some appreciating his reincarnation through technology.

But one savvy Twitter user made it their mission to create a Twitter account for the hologram of the rapper, using the handle @HologramTupac and responding to all of the hype.

According to The Los Angeles Times, the account has the description “I rap and I'm a hologram,” and tweets comments such as “Get ready for my new album – ‘All Eyez Thru Me.’”

The Twitter account also tweeted “I could have sworn I died with a shirt on,” and “So many digital haters. Only Tron can judge me.”

There were rumors that instead of recreating Tupac, the performance would come from Nate Dogg, who died about a year ago.

But it was ultimately Tupac who joined Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre onstage for hits like “Hail Mary” and “2 of Amerikas Most Wanted.”

Tupac was murdered in 1996, Entertainment Weekly reports. Since then, he’s released several post-mortem albums, giving conspiracy theorists reason to believe he is still alive.
