Adele is not only beautiful and incredibly talented, the “Someone Like You” singer is quite relaxed despite her enormous fan base and fame. So relaxed, in fact, Adele admitted to taking a stroll through the busy London Trafalgar Square in her pajamas.
In an interview with Matt Lauer, the Grammy award winning artist admits, “I walked through Trafalgar Square on a Saturday afternoon — tourist haven — in pajamas.” She adds, “I’m always in black. It was this tracksuit, with a massive green coat and little pink pumps. I had this massive umbrella so no one recognized me.”
The interview will be featured in a segment entitled Adele Live in London.
According to People, Adele will discuss her first performance after her throat surgery. The ever comical Adele admits that it wasn’t her voice she was concerned about, “I had three or four pairs of Spanx on that night,” she reportedly said laughing. “I took a few pairs off when I sang, though.”
Billboard reports that the special will also feature several performances from her Adele Live at the Royal Albert Hall DVD.
The NBC special is set to air on June 3 at 8 p.m, but fans can check out a sneak peek in the video below:
