Brad Pitt will become the face of Chanel No.5

For the first time in history, Chanel No.5 will feature a man to advertise the popular French perfume; and what better man to represent a sexy scent than 2000’s Sexiest Man Alive, Brad Pitt.

A source tells E! News that Pitt will shoot his first commercial for the perfume sometime in this week. The commercial is set to take place in London. According to E! this ad could bring Pitt home a paycheck “somewhere in the seven-figures.”

Chanel confirmed the news to People this morning. According to the magazine the recently engaged Pitt will join the likes of Marilyn Monroe, Nicole Kidman, Vanessa Paradis and Audrey Tautou.

Pitt is set for a busy year, with his Chanel commercial soon to be in the works the actor stars in Killing Them Softly later this year. Also, Pitt will be seen in at least four films in 2013, as he will star in The Counselor, Voyage of Time, World War Z and Twelve Years a Slave. Pitt recently starred in 2011 Moneyball and was the voice of “Will the Krill” in Happy Feet 2.
