Carrie Underwood announces fall 'Blown Away' tour

Carrie Underwood will blow through several American cities this fall as part of her upcoming Blown Away tour.

On May 1, Underwood appeared on Good Morning America to celebrate the release of her fourth studio album, Blown Away.

As part of her GMA appearance, Underwood performed three songs as part of the Good Morning America Spring Concert Series. She performed songs from her new album, which included the album’s first single, “Good Girl,” and “Cupid’s Got a Shotgun.” She also sang one of her previous hits, “Cowboy Casanova.”

Underwood also announced her plans to tour this fall.

“I can’t wait to get back out on the road and perform new music from my new album for my fans. We have a lot of exciting things planned!” she said.

Underwood is married to hockey player, Mike Fisher, and she is trying to balance touring with her married life.

"Normally, I think I'd try to head out in the summer, but my husband doesn't play; he's off in the summer. So I try to make sure I'm available, just to spend some quality time. So we'll start again in the fall, go for a few months, then probably pick it up again in the spring,” Underwood told USA Today.

Before heading out in the U.S., Underwood will perform internationally. She has a sold out show at the Royal Albert Hall in London on June 21.

Underwood won the fourth season of American Idol in 2005. Since then, she has sold over 14 million albums, won five Grammys and has accumulated 14 No. 1 singles.

The Blown Away tour kicks off on May 26, with Hunter Hayes serving as the supporting act. It will run through December 22.

Tickets will be available starting May 11, with $1 of each ticket being donated to the Red Cross.
