Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan were among the honorees at the 71st Peabody Awards in New York on Monday. The couple accepted the bronze award for their groundbreaking documentary they produced, Earth Made of Glass. The film covered the events of the 1984 Rwandan genocide.
Dewan was excited to receive the award and mingled with reports backstage during the show.
“It’s nice to be recognized for a project that we feel we’re really proud of…I think it has a great message, and it’s nice just to get that awareness out,” she told reports, according to E! News.
Dewan may have been in the spotlight last night, but all eyes are on her hubby.
He’s up for six Teen Choice nominations for The Vow and 21 Jump Street. In addition, he’s nominated for quite a few MTV Movie Awards including best kiss, best male performance, best fight and best cast.
Could we expect anything else from one of Hollywood’s favorite heartthrobs?
His toned figure is getting a lot of attention in the latest Magic Mike trailer, his latest film, out in June.
