By Gina DiFalco,

With the phenomenon of Fifty Shades of Grey still poking at readers’ hearts, it was only appropriate for a studio to adapt the book trilogy into a film.

With the prospect of a film came the casting rumors. There’s Christian Grey, the savvy businessman, and Anastasia Steele, the submissive college graduate, to cast. So who will it be?

Well, the book is actually based on author E.L. James' Twilight fan fiction, so men with vampire backgrounds have been rumored to be in consideration for the role of Grey.

First there was Ian Somerhalder, who told Ryan Seacrest on his radio show "I absolutely would be up for that... It could be amazing. It could be very, very amazing."

Although the Vampire Diaries star said “That would be a pretty incredible thing and hopefully that could pan out,” there are of course other actors to consider.

True Blood star Alexander Skarsgard happens to think he was “born to play” the role of Grey.

“He’s got a sex chamber? My character has that on True Blood. He’s got his little dungeon,” he told Access Hollywood about his vampire character Eric Northman on the HBO series.

“Where do I sign?” he asked.

What do you think, who would make a better Christian Grey? Or are there any other actors you believe would fit the part perfectly?
