20th Century Fox released the first full-length trailer for The Watch, the sci-fi comedy starring Jonah Hill, Ben Stiller, Vince Vaughn and Richard Ayoade that was formerly known as Neighborhood Watch. Fox has been forced to make some changes to the irreverent comedy following the shooting death of Florida teen Trayvon Martin.

The red band trailer, filled with all the raunchy jokes that some might come to expect from a comedy with these stars, was first posted on IGN.com. In the film, Stiller, Hill, Vaughn and Ayoade star as a volunteer neighborhood watch group that has dedicated itself to stopping an alien invasion of their hometown.

The film was directed by Akiva Schaffer, a Saturday Night Live writer who directed the 2007 Andy Samberg film Hot Rod. Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg penned the script, based on a story by Jared Stern. It was produced by Shawn Levy and Tom McNulty.

Fox released the first teaser for The Watch in March, and later announced that it would pull the teaser, which was being shown before 21 Jump Street. The studio also pulled the teaser posters from Florida theaters, adding that, even though the comedy has little in common with the Martin case, it is still “sensitive” to the issue.

The film itself is not being changed beyond the new title. It is scheduled for release on July 27.
